cameras start out good then blur and become terrible. customer service was no help whatsoever. i constantly have to turn the system on and off. i have since ordered a different brand. all the more reason not to purchase this camers system. Dont even ask about night vision on cams
One for face and one to see the back of the person incase something is bein held behind there back if you follow me. I am a simple man in a small house 2 bedroom 1 bath so I had plenty of cables. Put 2 cams on front door. Its like looking through plastic. Un beatable to see all 4 cameras at once.- plenty of wire for a SMALL country style house.-Dropped cameras during instalation and they took the beating well.-Easy to set up time and date on screen and reciver to TV-Great packaging. I can barley see my black car thats 25 ft away. Here is a detailed list of negatives and positives about this systemNegatives-Infa red only works to a couple feet.-Color quality is poor. YOU WILL BE HAPPY but will wish it had a little better color quality.
It is very high speen meaning whats on the screen is happening at that exact moment. This is the ultimate security system for the price. but the WIRELESS system I had before was 100 dollars cheaper and could not get a clear image NO matter where i put the reciver so wires are a NESSASARY EVIL for decent picture quality.POSITIVES-QUAD image on screen. Its color but VERY DULL. Everone hates running wires.
The entrance cams work good in pitch black but the cam for the driveway not so. Arrived perfectly safe and sound.-No lagging images.- Affordable for simple people who dont need a terminator system. The infa red is ok and I am pleased. One on the back door and one on the drive way. No lagging images.
Test before drilling and hanging anything. I did and they said to dry run system. People who just want to see whos at the door or that there door is closed and secure if they hear a noise in the house.Read other peoples reviews if you havent. I can only see the rims so will have to get a motion sensor light.In the daylight I can see perfectly the whole driveway. Only shows brights-Remote is cheap but works fine. Recomend testing at night because during the day all cams will have perfect image but at night maybee not.
There is so much better out there but if your a simple person looking for DECENT picture quality then its for you. I knew when I mounted a cam that that was exactly where i wanted it to be. Great advise. 4 stars only because I wantted intense color quality.
Its not the same images you see with your eyes. Anyone can use it and anyone with a BRAIN will have no problem.-Running wires. Wanted to run the wires under the house but fear of spiders was to great and was forced to run wires along the edge of house. Its a tool and does its job well but you will see what I mean.
Its not like looking in th the computer screen your looking at now. GREAT- I wanted to save money and did not want anything from outer space but maybee not for you-The mounts work great but could be better designed. Order it. Slightly off but still color.
I have had the system hit with some heavy Texas down pours without a hitch. Yes the IR is lacking, but with auxiliary IR lighting this short coming was corrected. I have researched different systems for my security needs and the SVAT CVQ1000 is an excellent buy for the cost. I do not mind only being able to record all cameras in the four split screen mode. The very small nature of the cameras at first made me wonder if this system would not be very clear, but I was quickly amazed at the clarity of the images. And with the size of the cameras, hiding them is a breeze. My only complaint is the remote is like a child's clicker toy, a bit fragile. I did purchase one more system for a panoramic 360 degree overlapping view of my land around my home.
Great Product. Easy to Install. Replaced a 5 year old system with the new system.
There is two reasons why i am not pleased (1)one of the cameras does not work and (2) night vision is not clear, you can not see any thing beyond three feet.That is why i am giving this 2 stars.
